A FAVOURITE SPOT

There's a little place on the Corniche in Abu Dhabi which has become a firm favourite of ours. The drinks are cold, the service is good and the sea breeze is always welcome. 

Asia De Cuba has locations in London and New York and in 2015 the Abu Dhabi branch opened. Located on the beach and operated by St Regis it is one of the rare spots in the city that you can dine al fresco on the beach front and order a vino at the same time. 

On this occasion it was 38 degrees and one of the "cooler" days we probably have left before summer really begins. It was also a few days before Ramadan begins so why not go out and enjoy sun downers, this was our reasoning anyway!

With a very distinct latin vibe going on, it's perfect for enjoying a Corona...or four,

and watching the sun go down.

When the sun finally disappears, the lights come on and the skyline creates a fantastic view to sit and admire.

When you're living in a city in the Middle East and can be transported to Latin America with just a short taxi ride from home, you know you've found a great spot and this remains a favourite all year round!
